Overview
Little Genesis Early Learning Centre is an initiative of Genesis Christian College, Bray Park and is an early learning centre for children aged from 6 weeks through to Kindergarten. We exist to nurture a love of Christ, a love of learning and a love of life.

We are seeking to employ a qualified Educator to join our experienced and passionate team of Early Childhood professionals. Our Early Learning Centre is conveniently located on the grounds of Genesis Christian College at Bray Park. We are looking for a team member who will share their passion for Early Childhood Education and Care. The successful applicant will need to be supportive of the philosophy and aims of a Christian Independent School and Christian ethos and be willing to embed these values into the curriculum.

To be successful, you will have

ADiploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or be working towards it
-however, Educators holding a Cert III in Children Services are also encouraged to apply

HLTAID
012 – First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management certificates

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Child Protection Certificate

Experience working within an Early Childhood environment

An understanding of an inquiry-based program and principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

Ability to confidently articulate information to families so that all families feel a connection to the service and build collaborative partnerships within the Educational program

A strong belief in the importance of ‘deep engagement’ and active supervision in relation to play

A high degree of enthusiasm and energy to work in outdoor and physical environments
