In this crucial role, you will be responsible for keeping and balancing various financial accounts using both manual and computerized systems. Accuracy is paramount as you prepare payroll cheques, post journal entries, and generate financial statements. Your experience will be pivotal for meeting tight deadlines and ensuring all reports are precise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate payroll and prepare cheques
• Maintain and balance various accounts
• Prepare financial statements and trial balances
• Post journal entries accurately
• Reconcile accounts to ensure sound reporting
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• Knowledge of Quick Books and accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong time management
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
