The Accounting Clerk supports the Financial Controller by maintaining current records on receivables, payables and store sales.

• Maintain current accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
• Verify store records such as invoices, purchase orders, etc., for accuracy prior to entering and filing.
• Contact suppliers and/or head office via email or phone as necessary.
• Maintain professional confidentiality of all store and customer records.
• Data entry.
• Work on additional duties as assigned by management.

• A general understanding of accounting principals.
• Experience using Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
• Ability to problem solve and critically think.
• Previous retail experience in a similar role is not necessary but considered an asset.
