Enhance financial accuracy with the City of Regina as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
Your role includes processing invoices and resolving payment issues in a supportive team environment.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will efficiently process high volume transactions, reconcile vendor accounts, and maintain meticulous financial records. This position supports the month-end and year-end activities, demanding a detail-oriented professional dedicated to exceptional service and collaboration. You will utilize your accounting background to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately process invoices and payments
• Reconcile vendor accounts regularly
• Resolve any discrepancies in payments
• Maintain comprehensive financial records
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial activities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary certification in accounting or equivalent
• Proven experience with high-volume transactions
• Proficient in Oracle and MS Office
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and customer service
