This course expands introductory BUS 288 material through cost accounting systems, cost accumulation methods, quantitative techniques, and internal financial systems. The appointment runs during Winter 2027.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare the course outline and relevant assignments
- Deliver 26 75-minute lectures throughout the semester
- Evaluate student work and submit grades on time
- Support students before and after class and during office hours
- Maintain a safe, collaborative classroom environment
- Graduate or doctorate degree in a relevant discipline
- Relevant professional business experience may accompany a bachelor’s degree
- Recent, significant professional experience in cost accounting
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation
- Strong communication, organization, and academic reporting skills
