Assistant Financial Controller Mining

This Assistant Financial Controller role supports a growing organization in mining and construction services. You will prepare statements, assist budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to project performance understanding. The work includes billing, tax compliance, cash flow, audits, controls, and process improvement.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements with actionable insights
• Support budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis across projects
• Collaborate with operations and leadership on project performance
• Ensure accurate invoicing and review billing structures
• Assist tax filings, audits, controls, and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional designation completed or currently in progress
• Three or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls knowledge
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
