As an Office Clerk III, you will train Office Clerk I – File Maintenance while ensuring all file maintenance activities run smoothly. This role demands expertise in managing Item Master Files and Vendor Master Files using the Retail Controller System. You will also handle email and phone inquiries, implement new programs, and ensure the accuracy of reporting periods, making your role pivotal in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with training and supervision of junior clerks
• Maintain accurate Item Master Files and vendor data
• Timely completion of work tasks, including inquiries
• Ensure efficient operation of handheld receiving units
• Conduct end-of-period reporting accurately
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education required; business degree considered a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in data entry with computer skills
• Familiarity with Excel is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy items and work weekends
