Join the Winnipeg Metropolitan Region as an Office Administrator on a one-year term with the possibility of extension. This blended role combines executive support and essential administrative functions.
WMR seeks a qualified Office Administrator to manage clerical tasks and assist with board support. Reporting to the Executive Director, the position involves maintaining office operations and providing essential governance support for board-related matters. Candidates should have prior administrative experience, particularly in governmental or quasi-governmental settings, and be prepared for an evolving role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver administrative support to the Executive Director and staff
• Prepare agendas, documents, and minutes for board meetings
• Serve as the first point of contact for office visitors
• Collaborate with external service providers for employee benefits
• Ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
• Over 3 years of administrative experience
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and interaction skills
• Experience in governmental or nonprofit sectors preferred
