Saskatchewan Polytechnic seeks an Office Assistant to support the School of Business and Entrepreneurship alongside Arts and Sciences. This multifaceted role emphasizes organization and proactive communication with varied stakeholders.
As an Office Assistant, you will manage course materials, schedule appointments, and serve as a primary contact for students and faculty. Your organizational skills will not only assist in day-to-day operations but also in executing significant departmental events. The role affords you a chance to impact student and program success directly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with instructors and students for information sharing
• Oversee departmental supplies and records
• Update and maintain classroom material filing systems
• Assist with event planning and execution effectively
• Maintain program webpage in Brightspace
Requirements:
• Must hold a Grade 12 and office administration certificate
• Two years of experience in an administrative position
• Intermediate proficiency in common software packages
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage confidential information
