SARCAN is searching for an efficient and organized person to fill its permanent part-time Administrative Assistant role. Your duties will include scheduling trailer switches, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining critical reports and spreadsheets. This position enables you to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently schedule and dispatch trailer switches
• Coordinate trailer switch activities with drivers and companies
• Maintain and input data on statistical spreadsheets
• Execute general office work to support operations
• Provide backup for the Office Administrator when required
Requirements:
• Preferred one year of office experience
• Post-secondary office administration certificate is beneficial
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency mandatory
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Capable of working independently and adjusting to changes
