Excavator​/Dozer Operator

Position: EXCAVATOR/DOZER OPERATOR
Potzus Ltd. is one of Saskatchewan's largest construction companies. Established in 1966, we are a second generation family owned and operated business. We provide top quality work to the Government of Saskatchewan, various municipalities, First Nations and the private sector. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.

We are currently looking for experienced EQUIPMENT OPERATORS for work on project near Fort Qu'Appelle, SK for the 2026 construction season.

Job Details

Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job

3 years experience operating excavator in earth moving/construction setting.

Experience operating equipment such as dozers, excavators, and front end loaders.

Experience with road construction, slopes and finishing work an asset.

Demonstrate skill in the identification of key hazards and use of strategies to work safely, such as: stability of soils, edges, excavations, stability of machine, and awareness of position, clearance, safe movement, other machinery/vehicles/workers

Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment

Clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary

Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance

Complete all work reports and maintenance logs

Overtime available.

Accommodation provided if working away from home.

Meal allowance if working away from home.

Health and Dental after 3 months.

What you need

Past proven experience in road building or site development.

The ability to lay material to finish grade.

Be able to work long hours.

Strong attention to detail.

Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious environment.

You must be physically fit for duty and able to lift up to 50lbs.

Applicants must have: steel-toe CSA safety footwear
