Truck Driver ; excavation​/earthwork

Position: Truck Driver 1A (excavation/earthwork)

Sky High Excavation is currently looking for a Truck Driver with valid 1A License. Salary will be $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience. Some experience is required; on-site training will be provided as well. Driving experience is required; heavy equipment experience would be an asset. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a part-time to full-time position. This position works outdoors in both residential and commercial environments.

Responsibilities
Drive tandem
Drive truck and trailer to job sites
Load/unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
Assist with water/sewer hook-ups and laying of pipe
Remove debris at construction sites
Perform other activities at work sites, as directed

Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in similar position
Valid Class 1A Drivers' License
Mechanically inclined
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Strong communication skills
Must be able to work independently and within a team
Trackhoe/heavy equipment operating experience is an asset
