Experienced Pipelayer

Position: Experienced Pipelayer for City
Help maintain Regina's essential water and sewer systems as an experienced Pipelayer. This skilled role involves construction, repair, and excavation in both new and existing systems.

As a key player in the City of Regina, you will perform various duties in water and sewer construction, report directly to a Crew Lead, and have two years of relevant experience. Your expertise in interpreting blueprints, operating machinery, and conducting quality tests is crucial to our operations. Successful candidates demonstrate initiative and can efficiently work in confined spaces and variable conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and maintain water and sewer systems

• Operate excavation tools and equipment

• Direct operators using hand signals

• Interpret specifications and communicate with team

• Conduct water quality tests and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or GED

• Minimum two years construction experience

• Level 2 Operator Certification required

• Knowledge of safety regulations

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with “A” Endorsement
