Position: Sewer Drainage Pipelayer for City
Take on a crucial role in building Regina’s sewer infrastructure as a Water & Sewer Construction Pipelayer. This permanent position focuses on effectively managing sewer construction and repair tasks.

As part of the Sewer Drainage Operations, you will be involved in the hands-on construction and maintenance of vital water and sewer systems. With a minimum of two years of relevant construction experience, your role will include interpreting blueprints, laying pipes accurately, and conducting water quality tests. Additionally, you will communicate effectively within a team to ensure smooth operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct new construction and maintenance of sewer systems

• Direct operators using hand signals during excavation work

• Lay down pipes and conduct hot tapping operations

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and supervisors

Requirements:

• Requires Grade 12 or GED

• At least two years of construction experience

• Must hold Level 2 Operator Certification

• Knowledge of Provincial safety regulations

• Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work
