About the position

Duties
1. The Saskatchewan RCMP uses video to help tell the RCMP story. As a video and production officer, you will have professional experience as a videographer and audio/video editor, photographer/editor and delivering creative new media products within very tight deadlines. You have skills in motion graphics or text animation and are confident working in the full Adobe production suite including Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, among others.

You will have experience shooting video on DSLR cameras, basic lighting and audio/microphone recording skills. The products created will support policing operations and divisional goals. They’ll target internal, local and even international audiences. This position will work in tandem with communications team members and see new media products through from the pre to post-production stage.
2. In Saskatchewan, the RCMP Strategic Communications Services team supports policing operations and investigations all across RCMP jurisdiction by creating a wide range of multi-dimensional communications products and services. This includes strategically telling the RCMP story on and with social media, video production, photography, website creation, news releases and various other written products, among others.
No two days are the same working on the Saskatchewan RCMP Strategic Communications team.

- Work from the office 5 days a week at Saskatchewan RCMP Headquarters in Regina, Saskatchewan.

- Being part of a team managing communications around operations and investigations means you may be required to work overtime or travel on short notice in support of public safety.
