Associate Producer Creator Network

Shape digital storytelling with CBC/Radio-Canada in Regina or Saskatoon, using journalism, writing, editing, and creator relationship-building skills.
This full-time, permanent Associate Producer position supports CBC Saskatchewan’s content diversification and creator network unit. You will collaborate with emerging independent video creators, develop original stories, and bring diverse perspectives to audiences across emerging platforms. The work spans pitching, production, packaging, and publication.

Key Responsibilities:

Build relationships with diverse emerging creators and talent
Mentor creators from pitch through publication
Research, write, edit, and fact-check digital content
Package stories for web, radio, television, You Tube, and social media
Manage multiple projects across different timelines
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent
Five years of practical, relevant experience
Understanding of local journalism and production tools
Excellent writing, editing, video producing, and digital storytelling skills
Familiarity with CBC Journalistic Standards and Practices
Bring independent judgment, creative storytelling, and community relationships to CBC Saskatchewan’s emerging creator network.
