Can Ops is seeking four dedicated individuals for the role of 911/Fire Call Taker at its new Provincial Emergency Communication Centre (PECC) in Regina. As a frontline responder, you will utilize strong communication skills to gather crucial information and assist in emergency responses. The position includes extensive training and offers opportunities for skill development in a cutting-edge facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer 9-1-1 calls and dispatch fire/rescue services
• Gather information for effective emergency response
• Provide reassurance to callers in crisis
• Coordinate with various emergency services
• Contribute to the growth of the communications centre
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
• Clear Criminal Record Check required
• Successful completion of training programs
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Support emergency services in Saskatchewan and make a difference at the Canadian Public Safety Operations Organization.
