Job Description

Prime Radiology is a group of hospital-based physicians primarily working at the Pasqua Hospital, the home of the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and Prostate Assessment Centre. Our practice encompasses a number of subspecialties utilizing a variety of imaging modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and intervention. We have state-of-the-art equipment including a new interventional radiology (IR) suite. We provide advanced diagnostic imaging and interventional breast procedures at the Regina Breast Health Centre, a new multidisciplinary facility providing comprehensive breast care to patients in southern Saskatchewan.

We also provide services at the Regina General Hospital including IR and MRI imaging. As we are a hospital-based radiology practice with no overhead costs, we offer competitive rates, optional on-call services and ample vacation time. Let's shape the future of radiology in Regina together!

Prime Radiology is seeking a fellowship trained breast radiologist or radiologist with multimodality breast imaging and interventional experience. We participate in the provincial Breast Screening Program with ample opportunity to meet the Canadian standards for mammography accreditation. We offer advanced imaging and procedures in mammography, ultrasound, and MRI in a brand-new community-based facility which includes radiologists, surgeons, nurse navigators, physiotherapists and social work.

We have a variety of cutting-edge equipment including a new Hologic prone table, GE Serena upright biopsy unit and the new Hologic Brevera biopsy system. We are currently developing a contrast-enhanced mammography program with both diagnostic and biopsy capabilities. Participation in multidisciplinary rounds is highly encouraged.

If desired, our group can offer opportunities in general radiology, teaching, and research for professional growth and development. So, if you are passionate about advancing breast health in a collaborative work environment, contact us to take the next steps in your career.
