What You’ll DoTELUS Health MyCare is seeking a passionate Gynecologist:
Menopause Clinic Lead interested in building the foundation of an innovative menopause program. The program will encompass perimenopause and beyond that will help bridge the critical healthcare gap facing millions of Canadian women. As the Gynecologist:
Menopause Clinic Lead you will have the opportunity to improve access to individualized, evidence based women’s healthcare by helping create wrap around care spanning medical, allied health support, supportive communities and more.

- Oversee a team of clinicians that will provide exceptional, individualized care to women seeking menopause care
- Be instrumental in the development and evolution of the program
- Create and oversee clinical protocols; ensuring we deliver safe, effective, evidence-based care
- Be an expert resource for clinicians, offering guidance with challenging cases
- Be the spokesperson and champion of our menopause care team in marketing and other outreach events
- Help design and curate educational content for our patients
- Collaborating with a dynamic team that supports women in their journey through perimenopause/menopause
- Experiencing the flexibility of working virtually, while also breaking down barriers to menopause care access for women across Canada
- Overseeing high quality, rewarding care to women who are suffering through the menopause transition
- Competitive hourly rate and free access to appointments with our dietitians or therapists
- You can work from where it is convenient for you and have the flexibility to make your own schedule to get the work life balance you are looking for.
- Certified with the Menopause Society/NAMS for at least 2 years
- Gynecologist or Family Physician with at least 5 years of experience in providing menopause care
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) or College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Active membership coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Experience in leading a team, conducting quality assurance and being a creative thinker who can provide ideas and solutions to optimize menopause care for women
- Be able to commit minimum of 4-6 hours per week
- Curious, collaborative, and always learning, loves to stay up to date with the current medical literature on women’s health
- A warm, approachable communicator who empowers clinicians to provide exemplary care to patients
