Practical and Applied Arts Teacher – Briercrest Christian Academy, Caronport (Teacher School Year)
0.22 FTE – January 5 – May 1, 2026 (PAA Survey Shops 10)
Monday – Thursday 1:15 – 2:35 p.m. and Friday 10:45 – 11:25 a.m.
0.42 FTE – May 4 – June 29, 2026 (Carpentry and Construction 20)
Monday – Thursday 12:55 – 3:30 p.m. and Friday 9:55 – 11:10 a.m.
Term – This position will commence January 5, 2026 and conclude June 29, 2026.
DescriptionBriercrest Christian Academy, operated by Briercrest College and Seminary, is a private, confessional secondary school in the evangelical Protestant tradition. Candidates must be committed to historic Christian orthodoxy and be supportive of the religious traditions of Briercrest College and Seminary. The Successful Applicant Will Be Characterized As Follows- Should have a sense of awareness and respect for, as well as enthusiasm towards, a variety of cultural backgrounds and ethics.
- Should be able to work effectively as part of the staff team to promote a school ethic which embraces strong accountability with regard to student attendance, the facilitation of student success and solid communication practices with parents.
- Would ideally be willing to engage in and invest in the students’ lives both within and outside of the classroom experience.
- Should openly profess a personal statement of Christian faith; should passionately live out their testimony within their personal and professional lives.
- Bachelor of Education degree.
- Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate.
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.

The educational philosophy piece should explore the candidate’s views of how Christian faith can be effectively interwoven with standard curricula within a high school setting, as well as the role which Christian education should have in deepening a student’s learning experience.
