The Dumont Technical Institute, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position.

Casual Faculty II – ABE/OA INSTRUCTOR

Competition Code: R OA/ABE Feb 13

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of instructional material and program supervision in Dumont Technical Institute’s Adult Basic Education and Office Administration programs.
  • Planning, delivery and assessment of the curricular outcomes.
  • Technological skills to successfully deliver online and in-person programming.
  • Reporting on student academic progress.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education degree and experience working with adult learners. Two (2) years of teaching experience is preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other staff and external agencies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills. Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of Métis culture and the educational needs of the Métis community.
Remuneration and Details
  • Remuneration: $72,038 – $94,798
