Become a Youth Worker with the YMCA of Regina in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and make a lasting impact on young lives this summer. Help mentor youth while leading fun and educational workshops.
In this role, you'll assist in executing the summer continuation of the Shared Services Mentorship Program. Working with youth aged 6-11, you'll create workshops and facilitate activities in community settings, all while adhering to YMCA policies. Your ability to connect and provide mentorship will be critical to the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute programming in small group settings
• Engage youth through interactive workshop facilitation
• Build trusting relationships and offer mentorship
• Ensure compliance with Child Protection Policies
• Communicate success and activities to families
Requirements:
• Proven ability to work well with youth and students
• Experience in mentoring and education planning
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required
• Must have updated CPR and valid driver's license
