St. Joseph's School is hiring a Student Tutor for 24 hours of instruction from March 23 to May 16, 2026. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for Catholic values in education.
Join the Northwest Catholic District School Board as a Teacher in a tutoring capacity. This role focuses on supporting primary/junior students and requires valid Ontario College of Teachers certification, including both Primary/Junior and Religious Education Part 1. A demonstrated faith life is an essential prerequisite to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective tutoring across primary/junior subjects
• Create an environment supportive of Catholic education
• Follow collective agreement guidelines in tutoring practices
• Maintain ongoing communication regarding student development
• Attend relevant training and meetings to enhance tutoring skills
Requirements:
• Valid registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Certifications in Primary/Junior and Religious Education Part 1
• Strong dedication to faith and Catholic education
• Flexibility to meet tutoring hours
• Excellent interpersonal skills for student support
