Coteau Hills Elementary School is hiring for a Temporary Educational Assistant. This position is designed to assist students with various educational needs starting in September.
The temporary Educational Assistant role at Coteau Hills Elementary School offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' lives. The candidate must have a Grade 12 diploma and a year of post-secondary education focused on student care. This full-time role involves 6 hours per day from September 2, 2026, to March 12, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate educational activities for students with diverse needs
• Work alongside teaching staff to ensure effective learning strategies
• Provide emotional and behavioral support during classes
• Conduct physical assistance, including student mobility
• Maintain a structured environment for learners
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent educational credential
• One year of post-secondary training in relevant fields
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Capacity to perform heavy lifting tasks
• Collaborative approach to student support
