This permanent, 50% part-time position involves providing personal care and academic assistance to students.
Your role will include life skills coaching and fostering engagement under the guidance of educators. Collaborate within a dedicated team to ensure students thrive in an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personal care procedures, including medication and catheterization
• Coach students in daily living skills for independence
• Maintain comprehensive programming records for students
• Implement and model positive behavioral supports
• Facilitate collaborative learning across peer interactions
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Interest in obtaining Educational Assistant certification
• Interpersonal and teamwork skills addressing diverse student needs
• Strong communication and flexibility in problem-solving
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and maintain privacy
