Instructor Paramedic Program

Position: Instructor for Paramedic Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking an Instructor for its Primary Care Paramedic program in Regina. This continuing education contract offers $60 per hour for teaching between August 2026 and June 2027.

In this role, you will be responsible for educating students through lectures, practical skills sessions, and curriculum evaluation. An emphasis on adult learning techniques and effective communication is crucial as you support the educational journey of future paramedics. Your experience in emergency health care will be invaluable in this teaching position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct interactive educational sessions

• Facilitate skills practice and small group discussions

• Assess curriculum effectiveness and implement improvements

• Provide ongoing support and counseling to students

• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ICP or ACP program

• At least 2 years’ experience as EMT-P/ACP or EMT-A/ICP

• Current licensure with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics

• Certification in ITLS and CPR as an instructor

• Familiarity with online course facilitation
