This role involves on-campus instruction of the Introduction to Anthropology course on Mondays and Wednesdays. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Anthropology or related discipline and a successful teaching background. You'll utilize classroom technologies like UR Courses (Moodle) to enhance educational outcomes and analyze the relationship between various cultural factors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach cultural anthropology in face-to-face format
• Hold an office hour weekly for student engagement
• Prepare and manage course content effectively
• Assess and grade student work diligently
• Ensure effective use of technology in teaching
Requirements:
• MA in Anthropology or closely related field
• Experience in teaching at the post-secondary level
• Proficiency in UR Courses (Moodle) required
• Strong classroom management skills
• Authorized to work in Canada
