Sessional Lecturer BUS 435AQ 001 (Business Case Analysis and Presentation) – Fall 2026
The Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following undergraduate course during the Fall 2026 semester.
Course: BUS 435AQ – Business Case Analysis and Presentation
Course focuses on critical analysis of current practice through case studies in business administration disciplines with an emphasis on integrative decision making and presentation skills. It prepares students to participate in undergraduate business case competitions.
Semester dates:
September 1 2026 – December 7 2026 (final exam period December 9–22 2026). Maximum enrollment: 48 students. A teaching assistant may be provided if requested and available.
Responsibilities
Preparing the course outline, designing relevant assignments, evaluating and grading student work, and submitting student grades on time;
Teaching course content that follows the course description, established learning objectives, and university academic guidelines;
Encouraging and maintaining a safe and collaborative classroom environment;
Providing regular support to students on course work as required before and after each class, during office hours, and as required by students;
Meeting all submission deadlines as outlined by the Hill School of Business;
Consulting with the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs) on academic or student‑related matters as needed; and
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate and/or PhD/doctorate degree in a discipline relevant to the course subject area (a bachelor’s degree coupled with relevant professional business experience may also be considered);
Superior communication skills (both written and verbal);
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with respect to academic reporting;
Recent teaching experience in a post‑secondary environment considered an asset.
