Responsibilities

Supervise student teachers (interns) throughout the province.

Observe and support interns in their placements.

Be on call to meet the additional needs of student teachers in the field.

Provide liaison support for the Faculty of Education, offering resources, guidance, and support for cooperating teachers and interns.

Avail for visits and provide support/guidance as needed by interns and/or cooperating teachers during the internship.

Compensation
Remuneration based on the current rate of $694.52 per assigned intern student teacher, in accordance with the URFA Collective Agreement.

If circumstances interrupt the completion of the contract, payment will be prorated for work completed.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Education.

Experience in the education system appropriate to the area of supervision applied for.

Knowledge and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum and Faculty of Education programs.

Proficiency with K-12 curriculum documents and current pedagogical approaches.

Access to a personal vehicle.

Attendance of a hybrid field advisor orientation on August 25, 2026.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
