Introductory Spanish I at the University of Regina this Fall 2026, focused on fundamental skills. Engage students in pronunciation, conversation, and grammar through direct instruction.
This role requires delivering face-to-face classes on campus every Tuesday and Thursday. You will maintain one weekly office hour and prepare necessary course materials including syllabi and lesson plans. Grading assignments and providing prompt feedback is essential, alongside participation in department meetings and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver face-to-face instruction in Spanish twice weekly
• Maintain regular office hours for student support
• Prepare detailed syllabi and lesson plans
• Grade and provide feedback on student assessments
• Attend departmental and professional development meetings
Requirements:
• B.A. in a related discipline minimum
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English
• University-level teaching experience required
• Preference for candidates with extensive teaching background
