The Faculty of Arts, Department of Politics & International Studies is seeking an instructor for PSCI 354/IS 325-001. Candidates should possess an MA or PhD in a relevant field, with expertise in Latin American politics and a proven record of effective post-secondary teaching. The instructor will be responsible for engaging students through dynamic classes and maintaining a productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver face-to-face course instruction on specified schedule
• Prepare and submit course materials and assessments
• Maintain effective teaching practices and engage students
• Fulfill grading responsibilities for student assessments
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the department
Requirements:
• MA or PhD in International Studies or Political Science
• Expertise in Latin American politics through research or teaching
• Proven record of effective post-secondary teaching
• Legal work entitlement in Canada
