Join the University of Regina as a Sessional Lecturer for ENGL 110-500 in Saskatoon this Fall 2026. This position focuses on enhancing students' critical reading and writing skills in an engaging in-person setting.
The Faculty of Arts is looking for a dedicated instructor for its Critical Reading and Writing II course. Candidates must hold an M.A. or M.F.A. and demonstrate significant teaching experience. Successful applicants should have a strong command of digital learning technologies to support both in-person and potential hybrid learning formats.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach critical reading through varied literary texts
• Design course materials that facilitate learning
• Provide constructive feedback on student submissions
• Create a supportive classroom environment
• Host office hours to assist students
Requirements:
• M.A. in English or M.F.A. in Creative Writing
• Experience in teaching college-level English courses
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction
• Commitment to attending in-person sessions in Saskatoon
• Compliance with academic guidelines of Faculty Policy Handbook
