Lead a comprehensive workshop in Museum and Heritage Studies at the University of Regina for Fall 2026. This role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences and facilitating discussions that enhance student understanding.
As the sessional lecturer for HIST 396–991, you will teach a 12-week course in a face-to-face setting. Your expertise will help design impactful learning activities, prepare assignments, and maintain course records. Collaboration with the department is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging lectures and oversee hands-on learning
• Design experiential learning experiences for students
• Prepare and evaluate course materials and assessments
• Actively participate in departmental meetings
Requirements:
• M.A. in History, Museum Studies, or closely related fields
• Professional experience in the museum/heritage sector
• Teaching experience at the university level preferred
• Ability to engage students in practical learning experiences
Contribute to the education of future museum professionals at the University of Regina through interactive teaching and mentorship.
