University Human Geography Instructor

The University of Regina seeks a sessional lecturer for GES 120 - Human Geography. Engage students directly on campus, with classes scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.

This instructor role requires delivering engaging course content and facilitating valuable discussions. You will handle lesson planning and foster student learning through one-on-one support in weekly office hours. Additionally, you will maintain the online Moodle environment and may assist in grading after the term concludes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the Human Geography course on campus

• Develop detailed lesson plans and reading materials

• Evaluate and supervise student projects

• Manage Moodle for seamless course delivery

• Conduct weekly office hours to assist students

Requirements:

• MA in Geography or relevant discipline needed

• Preference for PhDs or candidates in progress

• Experience in teaching undergraduate geography courses preferred

• Proficient with Moodle and other classroom tech

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
