Position: Fall 2026 Face-to-Face Sociology Course
Join the University of Regina as a sessional lecturer for SOC 100-500, Introduction to Sociology, offering face-to-face classes in Saskatoon this Fall 2026. Delve into the basic concepts and analyses of sociology.

The position requires candidates to hold an M.A. in Sociology or a related field, with preference given to those holding a Ph.D. Proven experience in university-level teaching is necessary to guide students through essential sociological debates and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lectures on sociological theories

• Foster classroom discussions on human culture and society

• Hold weekly office hours for student assistance

• Assess student submissions and offer constructive feedback

• Prepare curriculum and course outlines prior to the term

Requirements:

• M.A. in Sociology required;
Ph.D. preferred
