Become an instructor for ENGL 100-990 at the University of Regina, teaching Critical Reading and Writing I in-person. This course runs from September to December 2026.
The position involves enhancing students' critical reading and writing through diverse literary and non-literary texts. Responsibilities include teaching according to the prescribed syllabus, offering office hours, and evaluating student work promptly. Following the Faculty of Arts’ regulations is crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach course content in accordance with the semester schedule
• Develop course materials and effective syllabi
• Conduct office hours for academic support
• Evaluate student assignments and provide timely feedback
• Adhere to Faculty of Arts' teaching policies
Requirements:
• M.A. or higher in English or M.F.A. in Creative Writing
• Experienced master’s degree holders with twelve three-credit courses
• Ph.D. holders with experience teaching fifteen three-credit courses
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness through evaluation metrics
