Lead the way in adult education at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, providing instruction for the Adult 10/12 program. Deliver culturally responsive teaching in both in-person and hyflex environments.
In this instructor role, you will support students aiming for their Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC). Candidates with a background in math or science are preferred, along with experience in student support. Your focus will be on creating a student-centered classroom that reflects cultural diversity, especially First Nations and Métis perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement outcome-based classroom environments
• Manage classrooms for optimal student learning
• Plan content reflecting diverse community values
• Provide assessments and feedback on student progress
• Identify resources to enhance curriculum effectiveness
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree
• Valid Saskatchewan Professional Teaching Certificate
• Experience with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Competence in indigenizing curricula and evaluation
• Ability to use Brightspace LMS and MS Office Suite
