Teach Critical Reading and Writing I at the University of Regina during Fall 2026. Shape student skills through the exploration of various texts and composition strategies.
The University of Regina is hiring for the Sessional Lecturer role for ENGL 100-002/020. This in-person position will occur on MWF at 12:30-13:20 in CL 408. Applicants should exemplify teaching proficiency, supported by evaluations, to foster a conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-person lectures weekly in designated classroom
• Incorporate online materials via the Learning Management System
• Evaluate student work in a timely manner
• Provide office hours for student questions and support
• Comply with teaching regulations set by the university
Requirements:
• M.A. in English, M.F.A. in Creative Writing, or higher
• Experience in teaching with evidence of effectiveness
• Master’s or Bachelor’s with relevant experience for Sessional II
• Ph.D. or Master’s for Sessional III
• Legal right to work in Canada
