Teacher (1.0 FTE Continuing)
Full‑time (1.0 FTE) Continuation Teacher at McMahon Hutterian School, beginning August 26, 2025.
Teaching assignment includes Grades 4‑8. McMahon Hutterian School is a colony school with 28 students located 30 minutes from Swift Current, SK.
Responsibilities
Prepare, deliver, and assess instruction for Grades 4‑8 in a student‑centered learning environment.
Qualifications
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A constructivist and cooperative learning teaching philosophy.
Ability to develop meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLCs, professionals, and community service agencies.
Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student‑centered learning environment and willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom.
Commitment to truth and reconciliation.
Commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion.
Collaborative member of the educational team.
Respectful of Hutterian culture.
Effective in strategies that support student learning and growth.
Successful teaching experience or training.
Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or ability to be certified.
