This instructor role focuses on developing student proficiency through non-literary and literary analysis. Candidates need a master's or higher degree in English or Creative Writing for Literature Stream courses, ensuring effective teaching and impactful learning. You will engage students and foster their analytical skills through various reading and writing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop course materials emphasizing critical reading and writing
• Teach a diverse range of non-literary and literary texts
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Comply with academic regulations for course conduct
• Utilize web-conferencing tools for online instruction
Requirements:
• M.A. or higher in English; M.F.A. in Creative Writing for Literature stream
• Sessional Lecturer II:
Master’s degree with teaching experience
• Sessional Lecturer III:
Ph.D. or Master’s with additional teaching experience
• Proven teaching effectiveness based on evaluations or syllabi
• Knowledge of University teaching policies and technology
