Invigilator - Regina Campus (Casual 2026-27)
Invigilator assumes responsibility for test room security and administration of test materials. Duties include setting up and managing testing environments, ensuring electronic test equipment functions, processing test materials, collecting completed exams, and handling payments for exams.
Responsibilities- Follow exam security protocols and candidate check‑in procedures as outlined in the manual.
- Confirm attendance, verify correct exam papers/packages, distribute appropriate materials, and instruct students regarding start and finish times.
- Check out exams and related materials from the Test Centre or IELTS office and complete administrative tasks before exam starts.
- Arrange rooms, tables, chairs, seating charts, and specialized dividers according to candidate numbers and exam requirements.
- Record start and end times of exams and actively patrol the exam room to prevent cheating.
- Allow candidates to leave only after all exam materials have been collected and accounted for.
- Maintain confidentiality of materials such as students' IDs.
- Use computer systems for scanning, photographing IDs, data entry, and managing online booking systems (Accommodate, Register Blast, Excel).
- Use Outlook for email and calendar management.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Effective organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated respect for diversity.
- Experience with exam security and test administration.
- Proficiency in scanning, photography, and standard software (Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle payments and administrative tasks efficiently.
