Join Saskatchewan Polytechnic as an instructor in Literacy and Adult Education, facilitating the Adult 10/12 program. Focus on preparing students for the Canadian Adult Education Credential with an inclusive approach.
This position emphasizes culturally relevant pedagogy, particularly for First Nations and Métis students. Successful candidates will have experience in math or science, alongside teaching and student support experience. You will cultivate a learning environment responsive to diverse needs while managing classroom dynamics effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a student-centered classroom with outcome-focused learning
• Manage classroom activities to foster engagement
• Plan and deliver inclusive educational content
• Evaluate student performance and maintain records
• Source resources to support curriculum implementation
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree
• Valid Saskatchewan Professional Teaching Certificate
• Experience with diverse learners and indigenizing education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in digital tools and learning platforms
