The course ANTH 100 introduces students to key anthropological concepts, particularly culture's influence on our understanding of language and human nature. Students will engage with cultural diversity through comparative analysis, which sets anthropology apart within the humanities. Additionally, the class will examine the intricate connections among politics, economics, gender, kinship, and religion within various cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lectures on anthropological concepts
• Facilitate discussions on culture and human behavior
• Integrate online technologies for effective teaching
• Manage classroom interactions and group activities
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Requirements:
• MA in Anthropology or related field
• Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Familiarity with UR Courses (Moodle) technology
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
