SIIT is hiring for an Instructor in the Addictions, Community, and Mental Health Professionals program. This position involves creating lesson plans, utilizing tech advancements, and evaluating students’ progress to ensure a positive learning experience. A focus on diversity and inclusion is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design detailed lesson plans for diverse learners
• Incorporate technology into instructional practices
• Track attendance and course-required documentation
• Assess and record student progress effectively
• Maintain classroom discipline and recommend necessary actions
Requirements:

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Preferred:
Knowledge of adult learning theories
• Experience teaching in mental health or related fields
• Ability to engage Indigenous knowledge in learning
• Familiarity with First Nations cultures advantageous
