This role supports the implementation of the Shared Services Mentorship Program, allowing you to build meaningful connections while acting as a role model. You will engage with male youth across various schools and YMCA sites, working 25 hours per week, and occasionally in the evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement educational programming in schools and groups
• Design and deliver engaging workshops for male youth
• Develop mentorship relationships with program participants
• Report on program outcomes to families and network
• Adhere to YMCA Child Protection procedures and training
Requirements:
• Proven ability to connect with male youth, including those facing challenges
• Independent self-starter with teamwork skills
• Passion for youth mentorship and program development
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector requirement
• Must have CPR and First Aid training at start
