Drive the success of Indigenous students with Saskatchewan Polytechnic as the Indigenous Student Support Coordinator at Regina Campus. Focus on transition, cultural engagement, and tailored support in this full-time role.
This role is intended for candidates with a commitment to enhancing Indigenous education and community involvement. You will coordinate student support services, advocate for cultural needs, and develop programs that resonate with the diverse cultures within Indigenous communities. This supports a thriving educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute Wichitowin transition initiatives
• Build connections with staff and support services on campus
• Help identify and address student challenges early
• Lead life skills instruction to improve employability
• Establish links with community and cultural support services
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in education or a related discipline
• Two years' relevant experience in Indigenous support
• Leadership experience in educational contexts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Competence in standard office software
Facilitate cultural and academic success for Indigenous students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
