As a Casual Educational Assistant II, you will play a vital role in supporting students with high behavioral needs at Prairie South Schools. Your duties will encompass personal care, para-medical aids, and assisting with physical mobility needs. This position is tailored for those with a strong foundation in personal care and a commitment to fostering supportive educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to students

• Carry out physically demanding tasks as required

• Assist with non-invasive medical procedures under guidance

• Facilitate life skills activities within educational settings

• Manage mobility aids as directed by health professionals

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• At least one year of training related to student support

• Two years of experience in direct caregiving

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• NVCI and TLR training may be necessary
