Embrace a rewarding role as an Educational Assistant I with Prairie Valley School Division at Emerald Ridge Elementary School. This full-time position allows you to directly impact student success starting October 1, 2026.
You will be responsible for providing various support services to assist students with intensive needs.
Your role includes personal care, academic support, and promoting positive behavior strategies in collaboration with teachers and other educational staff. Contribute to a nurturing environment that encourages learning and growth for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate personal care to uphold student dignity
• Coach students to develop essential life and academic skills
• Assist with classroom activities and promote engagement
• Keep detailed records of student goals and progress
• Utilize behavior intervention methods to support students
Requirements:
• Must possess Grade 12 or equivalent
• Interest in completing relevant educational training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Physical strength to manage some lifting requirements
