Become an academic guide at Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre as a full-time Academic Advisor in Moose Jaw. Support students in completing graduation requirements and planning their educational paths.

In this vital role, you will work independently while assisting students with their graduation planning and course selections for high school and post-secondary programs. Your responsibilities include maintaining student graduation data, reviewing transcripts, and adjusting academic plans. The position requires you to stay updated on Ministry of Education guidelines and collaborate with Student Support Teachers for successful transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enroll students in online courses and maintain graduation plans

• Review transcripts and craft tailored academic plans

• Update student data in the DLCgo system

• Stay informed on changes in graduation requirements

• Assist with Grade 9-10 transition planning

Requirements:

• Certificate in Office Administration or related field

• Minimum three years in educational administrative support

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt to different student needs

• Willingness to learn new strategies for student support
