With approximately 610 students, including 326 enrolled in French Immersion, this role is essential to fostering bilingualism. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Grade 1/2 students in a French Immersion setting
• Deliver lessons in accordance with the Education Act, 1995
• Engage students in bilingual learning experiences
• Collaborate with colleagues and the School Community Council
• Involve students in academic and extra-curricular opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education degree required
• Master’s degree is an asset
• Fluent in French preferred
• Eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A certification
• Commitment to community involvement in education
